Located on the top floors of a residential building in zona B5 in Sofia, this maisonette has been reconfigured and reused. It is under construction. The apartment had been planned as an architectural studio on the 18th and 19th floor with a spectacular views - of Vitosha Mountain to the south and of the Stara Planina to the north. Given the requirements for drafting workspace back in the beginning of the century, the staircase had been situated in the south parts of the studio to provide more spacious rooms with northern outlook. With the change of use and new demands, we redesigned all the areas in the apartment. The staircase is moved to the north facade to make room for a spacious open plan with a living room, a dining room, a kitchen with an island and a breakfast area and a large terrace to the south on the first floor.On the second floor there are two bedrooms each with a terrace, a bathroom and a closet.
